In the Oldenburg Chamber Choir we look for the best possible sound and a successful interpretation of choral literature from all eras of music history. This happens on the ohne hand through vocal training during weekly rehearsals and on the other hand through a choir community that makes music together over a reliable period of time and thus grows together into a sound unity. The result is an outstanding choral sound that combines unified expression and shared vocal precision.

For the members of the choir, this means a very special experience in a musical community. This also includes collaboration with high-class orchestras, soloists and other ensembles. In addition choir trips are carried out in order to present their skills nationally and internationally.

The choir is always looking for new members who would like tho share this experience. Would you like to join?
Please contact Lukas Henke to arrange an audition. Singers are expected
to commit themselves to regular participation in rehearsals and to
private preparation of the repertoire. (lukas.henke@kirche-oldenburg.de)
The rehearsals take place every monday from 7:45 to 9:45 pm. Concerts
are also prepared with rehearsal weekends. The willingness for reliable
trial participation and practicing at home is requiered. Extensive choir
experience and good sight reading skills should be a given.
